Alfie & the Vampires of Transylvania

Thirteen-year-old Alfie has survived his first semester at Riviera Beach Middle School after moving from London with his dad and sister. He decides to celebrate by taking his new American friends on a return visit to the UK to show them his old neighbourhood.Things do not go to plan, as a surprise visit from the sinister Count Ördög and a cryptic letter from his dead mother begin a mystery that would have baffled even the great Sherlock Holmes. The game’s afoot as Alfie and his friends get lost in a cemetery, visit a travelling circus of curiosities, face secret and strange rituals on Glastonbury Tor, and are finally held hostage in a ruined mediaeval castle on an inaccessible island.
Alfie and his friends, the warrior-spirit Tally and wunderkind Milos, quickly realise that this is more than a game and is much more a matter of life and death. The boundaries of legend and reality are blurred as Alfie faces characters and creatures that he had hoped only existed in creepy books, horror movies, or nightmares.
FYI: They don't; they're real!
